If I could give more stars I would. Iain was very professional and personable…reminded me of the quality of service you used to get years ago. He confirmed everything that needed to be done and didn’t rush anything faster than it needed to be done. If you’re looking for your money’s worth this is the company for you.

Iain is too good. He is very professional and knowledgable. I live in a condo townhome on the second floor. The task was not easy but Iain figured out the way to clean the dryer vent and did his job brilliantly. Highly recommended!

A few years ago our dryer started taking hours to dry a load of clothes. We thought there was something wrong with the dryer. A quick google search indicated that the more likely problem was lint buildup in the dryer vent and the fire danger that presented. Since our laundry room is upstairs the dryer vents through the attic with a roof vent. To make matters worse, the dryer is in a converted closet with a very small footprint and a four inch lip making it extremely difficult to access the dryer vent inside. We had Iain come in and in no time he got to work. He moved the dryer out himself (no easy feat) and cleaned the inside of the dryer. He replaced the connection between the dryer and the wall vent after cleaning it. Then he went to the roof and scrubbed the vent from the roof through the length of the pipe. Not done, he added a screen to the roof vent. He goes above and beyond. Of course we had him in to do a maintenance cleaning just last week. We will never wait until there is a problem again. The risk of fire is too great. Even Iain was impressed with how well his handiwork of five years ago has performed over that time. Thank you for your great service!

We were having issues with our dryer, not drying clothes at all, in addition to moisture build up and causing a leak.

After calling late Friday, he was at our home the next day.

From the moment he arrived, he eased our worries.

And I knew he would fix our problem.

Before he began he checked the dryer air flow, and with his skill and experience, he was able to determine what he needed to do to repair the issue.

Iain worked very hard to clear the vent and make repairs that needed to be done to ensure the vent wouldn’t build up again.

Iain had just repaired my window cranks and informed me of the other services he provides. I asked him to have a look at my dryer vent as it was just a flexible pipe that was not connected. We made an appointment for the next day at 9am. Iain showed up promptly at 9 and replaced the old pipe with the proper parts. It took him less that an hour and looked amazing. I am truly impressed with the way he works and he does not charge a ridiculous price. Will definitely use him if needed in the future. I will recommend him to all my friends.

After suspecting a problem with the dryer vent for months, I finally got around to calling the Dryer Vent Cleaner. I called to book an appointment and was blown away that due to a cancellation Iain was able to come within the hour. Not only did he clean a ton of debris out of our vent, he also repaired a broken connection and corrected the connection from the dryer to the wall. Great service at a great price. I would recommend Dryer Vent Cleaner to anyone!

Iain is AMAZING!!! He worked so hard and did an excellent job. He had to figure out a way to get at the vent of a stacked unit and had to make a small (inconspicuous) hole to do the job. He did it without complaint (like many other companies these days seem to) and even handed me a $20 bill that he found in the dryer. If that doesn’t say TRUSTWORTHY, I don’t know what does!!! I can’t say enough about this company and who they are as people; you won’t find better! I truly wish them well in their business!!!

Had difficulty with our dryer vent, dryer was giving us a pressure warning. Called Dryer Vent Cleaner in the morning and an appointment was scheduled for later that day. That in itself is impressive. Ian showed up and quickly assessed the situation…………our vent cap flap was stuck in the open position and over time a squirrel or squirrel family made this warm place it’s home. The venting tube was totally jammed with earth and debris. Ian worked at it non stop and cleared the problem, now our dryer is back to normal operation.

I emailed Iain and Jo via the website on a Sunday evening and they got back to me Monday morning at 9am. Iain came out that afternoon and had my vent expertly repaired in about an hour. I asked about cleaning the inside of the dryer, and he showed me all the spots that would be full of lint if the dryer were dirty. He could have cleaned my clean dryer and charged me extra, but he was instead both honest and informative. He was also very pleasant, and very professional! Highly recommend!

What a pleasant surprise to find such a polite, skilled and helpful technician like Iain. He did a thorough job of examining my dryer, vents and replacement of venting material to make it to code. While here, he even helped me with some weatherstripping issues.

I had to buy a new dryer and was told when it arrived that it could not be hooked up to the plastic vent that was installed. I called the office and Iain came that same day to assess what would have to be done and to give me a quote. He had to take drywall out and insert new vents in a very tight spot. He did an excellent job – even put the drywall back. Everything was perfect and he probably saved me from having a dryer fire. Additionally he charged me a reasonable price considering the work that he had to do. Fantastic!

We just moved into a new home and found that the dryer wasn’t working properly, and suspected that it might be due to the dryer vent being clogged. We called Iain and he came to have a look the very next day. Not only did he clean the vent, he found and corrected some serious problems with the routing of the vent. He fixed everything, provided us with photos to show us what the situation was in the attic and how it looked once it was repaired. He even took apart our dryer to clean the lint that had accumulated in there after running for such a long time without a properly working vent. His service was fantastic and we will definitely be calling him again for routine maintenance every few years.

When installing a new range hood, my husband and I looked at the venting in the attic to discover it was a disaster and actually did not vent outside. We had to have the location of the vent moved, so we called Iain to check it out. He moved the vent, fixed it so it vented outside and insulated it all, then installed our new range hood. I was very happy to leave the work with a professional, and Iain did a great job.

Owner operator Ian Stubley quoted over the phone price for new vent dryer installation. Detailed instructions given for installing a new vent on bungalow semi attached home and the address.

He arrived promptly on a very warm day. He concluded after seeing the job it was too hot to go in the attic. “ Frankly I don’t want to do the job, too hot, too difficult” It was agreed he would come the following Saturday when the temperature lowered. Saturday it rains appointment cancelled same day. Rescheduled 9 days later. Sure enough text message in the middle of night Ian not coming because it is supposed to rain. Call to reschedule in the morning only to get a message from his wife he doesn’t want to to the job! Other vent company came as promised completed job. No Excuses!

Iain came on time and after locating my dryer vent that was on my roof he went up and cleaned it and than checked my Dryer after cleaning. his job was done in a

reasonable time frame and efficient way.
