New dryer vent installation
Owner operator Ian Stubley quoted over the phone price for new vent dryer installation. Detailed instructions given for installing a new vent on bungalow semi attached home and the address.
He arrived promptly on a very warm day. He concluded after seeing the job it was too hot to go in the attic. “ Frankly I don’t want to do the job, too hot, too difficult” It was agreed he would come the following Saturday when the temperature lowered. Saturday it rains appointment cancelled same day. Rescheduled 9 days later. Sure enough text message in the middle of night Ian not coming because it is supposed to rain. Call to reschedule in the morning only to get a message from his wife he doesn’t want to to the job! Other vent company came as promised completed job. No Excuses!

Thank you for leaving a review but let’s get this right. I did agree a price over the phone and agree to come do the job. However when I got there on a really hot day in July.
Upon going into the attic (which was the smallest and most confined space I have ever been in) I proceeded to crawl on my chest on the divider beams in the attic, I then dropped my flashlight and panicked due to it being 120 degrees, confined and full of insulation. I came out to you and your husband and said I could not do the job due to the intense heat. You then looked horrified, proceeded to make me feel bad because you had driven 3 hours from Kingston to do this for your daughter. After talking for a while I said I did not want to do the job, however, you chose not to accept this and pressured me to commit to another day.
The next appointment got canceled because it was forecast rain and involved also going on the roof. The next appointment also got canceled due to rain forecast, (I did not want you driving 3 hours from Kingston again) then you called/texted telling me the weather was forecast fine on Wednesday and it had to be done this day.
Unfortunately the day you told me I had to do it clashed with other customers and I could not make an appointment that day so said best to find another company.
As the owner I am able to decide not to do a job if for safety reasons I do not feel comfortable but I do not like being told I need to do the job.
I am glad you found another company that was not busy to do the job.
Dryer dry's so much quicker now the vent is clean

Above and beyond service
I am so grateful that they not only cleaned my dryer vent, but educated me on what some of the consequences are of not having regular cleaning and maintenance of my dryer vent. Not only did they find issues that the builder left behind – but they were quick to go the extra step and fix my exhaust vents which were not properly hooked up. Had they not serviced me that day, I am sure I would have had a dryer fire.
